"This is a crucial time for Reno and Washoe County. The county government currently is not

serving the constituents to the best of their ability. We need more transparency and accountability, we need to address homelessness head-on and ensure the county staff are being held to the highest standard.  The county has helped in the process of furthering economic development opportunities, but there is additional red tape that the commission can remove by being good stewards of time and others’ resources. If I’m elected, I will collaborate with my fellow commissioners, county staff and constituents to help make common sense policies and remove unnecessary hurdles that will work to strengthen area businesses because we should keep the ‘public’ in public service."
